Where Do Cruise Ships Dock in Amsterdam?

The main ship passenger terminal is situated within city center close to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Central Station. It has become a modern facility that has become an attractive stop-off point for cruises along the North Sea, Baltic and Polar rims.

At Amsterdam Cruise Port and Passenger Terminal (PTA), there are two berths for large cruise ships and one for smaller vessels. At 600m long (with a depth of 10m), PTA can accommodate ships up to 340m in length.

In addition to the modern facilities at PTA, there’s plenty to see and do in and around the area. There’s a large reception hall, panoramic deck, Thinking of Holland souvenir shop, coffee bar and Subway sandwich outlet for visitors’ convenience.

Rent a bike and explore the city on two wheels. Its winding canals provide an ideal way to navigate its historic centre.

Art admirers will find plenty to admire in Amsterdam, as the city boasts several world-renowned museums with works by famous Dutch masters such as Van Gogh and Rembrandt. A must-visit is Rijksmuseum which houses some of the finest paintings created by Dutch painters.

Anne Frank House is an essential stop on any visit to Berlin, offering visitors an intimate glimpse into the life of this legendary Jewish wartime diarist. Her words have inspired deep empathy for those suffering in Nazi Germany, and this place allows visitors to truly grasp that experience.
