What is Roma Pass?

This is a preferential card for tourists, giving discounts when visiting the city’s attractions. With its help, you can take part in an excursion to a museum, theater, or historical place at a reduced price. A single ticket includes visits to museums and archaeological sites included in the list, and free use of certain types of public transport within the central zone of the city.

With this card, you can choose to visit two of the city’s 40 different museums and archaeological sites for free and without waiting in line. Further visits will be paid, but with a certain discount from 15 to 50%, and on a first-come, first-served basis, which can be very long at popular museums on weekends.

The list of preferential transport includes:

  • all types of ground transport from ATAS;
  • all metro routes;
  • electric trains on the route Roma-Giardinetti, Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo and Roma-Lido, excluding Leonardo Express trains and local Trenitalia trains.
